Peak and Off peak travel to South Africa

Hello, I am looking for info as to whether March is a good time to travel to Cape Town....I am trying to decide if I should use my space available passes on SAA or to spend the extra money to buy a positive space ticket. I will be flying (hopefully) from ATL to CPT...space A would save me about 500 dollars!

Hi, I flew that route last March and the SAA flights were half full both ways-got 3 seats to myself. I returned on a Friday and the crew said they expected a full flight going back to Joburgh on the weekend. I would certainly check with SAA they were very helpful and if you codeshare with them your airline can tell you how many free seats are open for the codeshare.

Thanks...have you spent much time in Cape Town?
I lived there for a year....many years ago but now
I'm looking for a hotel in either Kenwyn or Claremont...I can't remember where those suburbs are in relation to the city center. Have been looking for a good map online.
