Embargo to NBO?

I recently read that Swiss International (LX) has embargo for non-rev to/from Nairobi (NBO) from March-October, but our ZED listings calculate a fare with no mention of embargo. Does anyone know if this embargo exists? Are there any similar embargos for KLM or BA to/from Nairobi? We are planning trip to NBO 31Jul07 to 09Aug07.

I also read that British Airways recently tightened restrictions on baggage. Does anyone know what the new baggage restrictions are for non-rev travel?

I would really appreciate any info. Thank you.

At of the end of March BA is not warning of any embargoes to NBO ( or anywhere around there ) planned for the summer months. For reference BA are not showing any embargo notified to BA by LX for any of their routes.

Re baggage .. the same baggage allowance that applies under the new rules for commercial passengers applies to staff travellers.

For reference BA have two flights a day ( most days ) to and from NBO and they look fine on the dates you have mentioned.

i just checked our staff travel sites and it shows no embargo for lx flights to nbo. i can remember that sometimes there are embargoes on lx to nbo but now it seems that there is no embargo
