Hotels In Tahiti or Fiji

Does anyone know of any hotels that give airline employee discounts before 30 days of arrival in either Tahiti or Fiji? Most hotels that I contacted will give a rate of 30% off the rack rate or a nice discount but not before 30 days prior. Unfortunately, I like to plan ahead.

They have hotels in Fiji on their site but I'm not sure about Tahiti.

When are you looking at travelling?

Thanks Vicki for the web-site, we generally travel the last two weeks in September and around the 2nd week of November.

Since we have not chosen our vacation as of yet, we are free to travel anytime. The goal would be to try to choose the least busiest time of the year for both non-rev travel and for the hotel discount. But we must make up our mind by early December.

Any ideas as to when the best time for travel to either Tahiti or Fiji?

I'd probably first check out when the school holidays are - I'm in Australia and the school holidays where I live are the last week of September/first week of October and flights to Fiji would be quite busy from here then I would imagine.

You said you need to make up your mind by early-December so are you planning to travel later this year??

I am all booked up for this year (Hawaii in Sept 2005 and Jamaica Nov 2005). I would like to start my travel plans for 2006.

Thanks for the FYI regarding the school holidays in Sept and Oct as the kids go back to school in late August where I live.

I will rule out Sept and Oct for Fiji since I might have a hard time getting on the flights.
What do you think about November or the month of May?
