A few years ago we travelled to aussie and we used the ansett site to find apt. rentals.
Is there another site now that could help us with this.

The Quest Apartments group is the largest of it's sort down here. They have properties all over the place and there should be something at or near where you want to be.
Other likely suspects include the Medina group & Saville Park apartments.
If you're heading to a "tourist" area then a web search should bring up some private options for you.
