BA Expands Network With A380 , 787 Routes in 2014

British Airways will add the following routes for 2014:

IAD - LHR upgrade to A380 9/1/14

LHR - JNB upgrade to A380 2/1/14

LHR - AUS *New Route 787 starting 3/3/14

LHR - PHL *New Route 787 starting 6/5/14

LHR - YYC *New Route 787 starting 7/5/14

LHR - HYD *New Route 787 starting 3/30/14

LHR - CTU *New Route 787 starting 5/5/14

AUS-LHR? Wow! That's a route that I don't think I'd have expected!

Soon to be followed by EK RAP-DXB and QF ART-SYD...........but that one will be looking at daily payload issues

I think you'll find that LHR-AUS is the only new route .. the others are just service increases

And actually, it looks like a lot of those routes (HYD and CTU) do run on 777s, so it's really a downgrade.
