fishing in Cancun?

Anyone know of some great-priced fishing trips in Cancun? If you've been there recently, what are some other things/places that we should definitely check out? My sister and I are taking a "mom's out" trip together, no kids/hubbys. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] Thanks~

WE went in Sept. Had a great time caught a bunch of baracuda. Deep sea fishing excursions can usually be booked through your hotel. You can also go to Peurto Juarez ferry dock, north of Cuidad Cancun early in the morning and negotiate with a fishing boat captain. Practice your bargaining skills - they expect it!
We booked through the hotel and aqua tours. They said there would be up to 6 people on the charter. the morning we went we where the only ones on the charter ! So it was a private charter. The mates on the ship where outstanding they provide beer , pop and water to you if you want any hting stronger you can bring it with you. The captains name was Theasea and the mates was Fernado & Juan . The captain kept us out 2 extra hours because she said fishing was bad that day ( we each caught 4 barrcuda and 1 grouper) She bottom fished the last hour. She said the week before they were pulling in sail fish . For even better fishing take the fariy to Isle Majuires just across they lagoon about 20 min ride. The week we were there they had Norm Isaac's Big game fishing tourment there . Sailfish all day being pulled in. Several outfits you can book with the best is
