So, you want to go somewhere English is spoken?? Visit St. Croix! Just make sure that you DRIVE ON THE LEFT!!!
Do you want to Dive. St. Croix has some of the deepest water in the world. Great wall dives, night dives or just jump off one of the many dive boats that go out daily.
Want a quite visit..several quiet, romantic places to go. Want to dance..stay in Christiansted. Want a trip with your significant other..we've got the places for you! Want to have a coctail and watch the sunset...Go West..West is the best!!
Want to belly up with a PIG for a drink? Well, we've got the pig for you. Or maybe you just want a tour and free drink at the Cruzian Rum Factory.
Like to drive into the wilderness. Rent a jeep and drive into the rain forest or along our beautiful shores.
Our tourism has never been our best asset. St. Thomas is the place to be if you want tourism and traffic. We have great bed and breakfast or several quiet, romantic resorts. We have hot spot resorts and little out of the way hotels. Or, you can rent a space in a local home.
Listen to your radio. Roger W. Morgan's "Rock and Roll Rewind" is broadcast from St. Croix every Saturday..you can meet the guest and dance with the locals at the Divi Hotel on the beach.
Does anyone want to learn more!!!! Ask me!!!!
I would like to send a picture of our drinking pig, I just cannot figure out how!

Hi Janet
Wondering about annual carnivals & festivals.
The Three Little Pigs
Thanks for the photo of little straw house pig. I've always wondered what happened to him after the wolf huffed and puffed and blew his house down, nice to see him doing so well. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

St. Croix has Christmas Carnival. Last year was our 50th Anniversary. The parade lasted over 7 hours. Alot of companies close from 24Dec until after 6Jan..(no one shows up for work anyway).
St. Thomas has Easter Carnival. The government give STT more money than STX, so their parade is usually larger.
I will check on St. John's carnival.
STX has a parade for St. Patrick's Day. It is alot of fun and really should not be missed. It is not serious..plan to laugh and drink.
Next week we have a new parade...It is called MadiCroix. This parade will be held on the north shore. I will give an opinion on this parade later.

Do I need a passport to travel to St. Croix? I'm sure you hear that question all of the time but I have put off getting a passport until I lose some weight (okay, I'm a bit vain) but I'd love to go there.

Hello and thank you for writing.
When you depart the Virgin Islands, you clear immigration and customs. If you do not have a passport, you should bring your originia birth certificate. Some people do not travel with either of the above documents. If immigration decides to detain you to investigate your nationality, they can without the above docs.
