Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum.
I stayed here (Akumal side) in 02 & 03 for my honeymoon & 1st anniversary.
It's a very nice AI resort that we really love.
They gave me an interline rate of $120/night (for 2 people) both times. I had to call to get that rate, and it was somewhat difficult to get someone who understood well. I had to email them a copy of my Airline ID.
However they use their hotel exchange rate (which is not as good as the banks) when figuring up the total to charge your CC.
This sounds like a bad thing, but. . . .
When you get your bill, it cost less, because of the CC company's better market exchange rate.
Oh, and being my honeymoon & returnign for my anniversary, they upgraded me to a Junior Suite for free both times. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
Anyway, just thought you might like to know.
If anybody has any specific q's about this resort, let me know.

Im heading back down to Cancun in Sept, and I called them today.
They no longer offer the interline rate. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

they still offer interline rates, but there are blackout dates. I'll try to find all my access info and put it in here later
