I met for the first time ever an employee of a cruise line hanging out where you would find mostly flight crew. This gentleman was visiting El Salvador, said he went to some wedding there and was staying with this girlfriend. He flew Spirit Airlines out of Ft. Lauderdale, near where he works for these cruise liners. Sort of like us with airplanes, this guy rides on his cruise ships for free. Sometimes he says he gets out of work, on the weekend, and suddenly just jumps on board a cruise ship. Quite an interesting benefit. I'm sure there is always room.
He told me if I ever wanted to go on a cruise, that he is the guy you want to talk to for setting up the price. With no problems. I hate to use people for favors when I am capable of getting my own deal when it comes to discounts but he made it very tempting.
Here, a cruise line employee hanging out in El Salvador at a crew staying hotel bar with a girl friend knocking off a couple of beers, non reving in the caribbean on cruise liners. Not bad.
