Pain in the (Rythmes with FALLS!)

Call Delta for to be listed on a flight. You are on the phone for average 34-45 minutes. First time I call, I'm working, its outside, in the wind blowing, and the lady keeps telling me I'm breaking up. Ok, so as I'm screaming, "can you hear me now" for an attempt to keep her from hanging up, she tells me to call back at this same number. Of course, you don't go in front of the line, another 34-45 minute wait for SECOND phone call for a listing.


Ok, second phone call. Lady gives me a different number to call, which I did, after waiting another 34-45 minutes, which was a phone number that had nothing to do with listing me on a flight. BOGUS!!! Probably a NEW HIRE, and therefore, more wasted telephone time and nothing moving forward.


OK, THIRD phone call. 30-45 minutes, somewhere in between, I get interupted, have to hang up the phone, drive away somewhere, come back an hour later, and call again. This time, the voice message on phone tells me to elect a number so that someone will call ME at my home within 30-45 minutes. Which I elect to do.

Phone rings. It's not them. It's a Pakastani saleswoman asking for WILLIAM. Who The F is William? She apologizes and tells me she'll take me off her list. (Thanks)

Phone rings again. Not Delta, some voice recording of some BS of something political or something to sell.

Phone rings after 30-45 minutes. I about am ready to beg this lady to list me on a GOT DARNED flight! She tells me to read off a ticket number, which I do, and she proceeds to tell me that my airline I bought the ticket from if I called them should be able to LIST ME. I am thinking to myself, is that BS or what? This lady was further lost than all the above I was talking to.

I hang up the phone politely with a hesitant,......(I think your full of it) crackle in my throat.

Finally, again 30-45 minutes because I won't quit until I know I aint going nuts and will have to go through this crud again in the near future, I get a lady from I don't know where. Total accent from who knows where, but this lady was on the ball. She listed me the way I had always been listed, and finally after all those minutes dicking around with a phone strapped to my ear I got my confirmation number and listing.

WOW! Never had that issue before.
