I'm assuming this is Delta? Every airline has their own policies for that type of thing, you know :)
-
It is, but I'd recommended that you don't copy/paste from travelnet (as per company rules) on social media, websites, etc.
If anyone tries to book a BP, those dates will not be bookable. The info is helpful for bypassing those dates because there will be lots of BPs on either side of the embargoes, as well as connections from overseas that might carry to the next day.
-
Just curious, if a buddy doesn't get on a flight the day before the embargo, can they be rolled over to an embargoed day, or is it that strong of an embargo that they can't even do that?
-
If you haven't made it to where you are going by midnite before the embargo begins you are not going anywhere til the embargo period is over.
There will not be an automatic rollover unless the Delta Agent makes a new listing for you or you do it yourself to travel after the embargo period.
If you are on a flight that orginates before the embargo and arrives in the embargo time you are OK. BUT if you have a connection flight after
midnite in the embargoed time your are stuck there til the embargo ends.
Embargoed periods of travel are serious business. Even high priority active employees on vacation passes encounter real stress making travel
situations. The embargos are done so that the Delta Agents can spend the necessary time to handle the crowds of revenue folks without delay.

They should expand those days like 365 days embargo dates per year.
