Fights to NRT from SEA and PDX on the 30th show 15/7 and 25/7 for 1st class.
Does this mean they will go out with empty seats in 1st?

Is Y overbooked? Could be held seats to put "displaced" pax in coach...
They have high no-show (biz changes) factor, also pax upgrade w/miles. There area fair # of misconnects, too. Those flights go like clockwork when possible. NRT is very efficient. It's a crapshoot. DL will upgrade if coach is oversold based on fare, status, etc. NRT flts are the only ones I've seen w/such a disparity AVAIL and Auth to sell in biz elite.
I've seen it in HND as well. But yeah I've only seen it at the Tokyo airports. The first time I saw it I freaked out when the # authorized to sell went from 25 to 1. I was preparing for a long flight in coach because I've never seen the # authorized to sell so far below the available number in biz.
