Hey everyone,
I am a student hoping to fly to Milan for spring break. I've never used a buddy pass before so I really don't know much about it (roomates dad is a delta pilot that's how I got it). I've called delta for the load and they told me it was something like 6 in business and 5 in coach.
I was wondering what you guys thought were the chances me and a friend of mine who is also using a buddy pass (from his aunt who is a flight attendant, I don't get how the whole S1,2, etc thing works) of getting on this flight. Or if you think I should take a flight into Frankfort that is wide open and take a train to milan. Also would I be able to wait and try to get onto the milan flight and if I don't then try to get on the later Frankfurt flight that same day?
Really any help and hints would help a ton! Thanks a lot!

Chris,
I work with Delta and live in Europe. I will give you some pointers tomorrow when I have more time...but reply to this and let me know where your are flying FROM and what dates you are looking at. I can check loads and help you make a more educated decision. Remember that the employee or spouse or child are the only ones who can redeem the buddy pass certificate for a ticket...so if you have the certificate, delta will not let you redeem it without the employee/family member present.

Fly without Reservation,
Thanks a lot for the reply! I will be flying out of Atlanta on the 10 th of March and into Milan (I hope) and returning on the 25th or 26th which ever looks better.
I also looked at flying into Zurich or Rome but none of those look very good either.
Thanks for your help!
Chris
