Taxes to the UK

Minus all service fees what's the amount of taxes I'm looking at paying if I'm going to the UK?

Will need an itinerary to be able to give a definitive answer. The airport user fees vary as does class of travel taxes for starters.

JFK to LHR on Virgin or British Airways. Assume tickets are prize letters and only need to pay taxes.

Going to the UK you will only need to pay the US taxes as we don't yet have any arrival taxes. On departure from the UK to the US you will pay GBP20 APD government tax plus approx GBP12 PSC airport usage fee ( for LHR ) plus the US arrival taxes.

I've checked out aircanada.com from LGA to LHR because they actually list every single taxes and to add it all up it comes out to around $115 USD?

Are the taxes on aircanada.com accurate of what the rate would be on british airways?

Theres normally about USD50 in US taxes and charges so when added to the USD56 ( GBP32 ) UK taxes that would make about USD105 or so, This is in line with the taxes we pay on out ID90's so I guess that USD115 is in the ballpark.
Note that some carriers mark a fuel surgcharge as an additional tax which of course it isn't .. its just a bogus way of keeping the fare at a cheap level rather than letting you know how much the ticket is really going to cost. I'd guess that you would not have to pay these fuel surcharges on the freebie ( assuming that what one of these 'Prize Letter' things is ).

Looking at JFK-LHR 1/13 coming back 1/16 on BA
