Hi, I'm Nancy and I'm trying to get my family to either England or Germany the end of May or early June. We only have about 10 days so I don't want to spend the whole time sitting in airports. Any suggestion which carriers or airports are my best options. We also have the option of military flights.

hi nancy
at the moment its too early to tell you on which flights you have the best chances to make it to europe. in general end of may early june is the time to go, because later on all flights are full full full. to frankfurt and munich lh and nearly all us carriers have direct flights from several cities in the us.but there are also flights to hamburg, stuttgart and berlin which might be a good option if the flights to the big hubs fra and muc are full.

Thanks for your response. I'm new to this Europe thing so I've been checking different options for a few months. We we're going with the BA Speedbird, however that is not available to us any longer. I will check into flying into one of the smaller German cities and possible fly out of England or vis versa so we have better use of our short travel time. All ideas and options are appreciated. Thanks again. Nancy

But Okienan, how's about telling us WHERE in the US you might want to fly from? If you were flying from LAX, say, your choices are different than if you are flying from the east coast.

Sorry, I guess that would help. I live in Oklahoma, but it would be very easy for us to get to Dallas, Houston, Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Oakland, even the east coast is managable, just not as easy to get to.
