There is a tour company that gears toward budget concious travelors called Cosmos Tours. There website is www.cosmos.com . They have different tour packages throughout Europe. I was trying to decide whether to go to Italy or Ireland with them. I ended up booking a 10 day/9 nights of a tour of Italy in Oct. It was $930.00 land only package which includes hotels, breakfast (most hotels in Europe offer breakfast anyway), 2 nights of dinner (the other meals are your own expense), the tour bus, with narrated tour host, and some exersions. I remember seeing specials advertised for Ireland 8 day land only deals for $800. It might be worth checking out.
