Hey there everybody, my name is Greg and I work for Southwest Airlines. My wife and I are traveling to Italy in June, the beginning of June and I have never nonreved on another carrier. I wanted to buy tickets but I really can't pay 1200 apiece roundtrip over there. We are going to Venice first, so I was thinking of flying into Brussels or London or something, and I just wanted to find out if there is anybody that has experience with Nonreving and could maybe help me out a bit. Thanks, Greg

Greg, my wife and I usually try to go to Europe once or twice a year, but have never tried during the summer months because the loads are usually pretty tight. You should be ok as long as you keep your options open about which city you fly into and out of, as well as when you fly.

Welcome aboard Greg. Hmmmm, non-reving to Europe in the summer, you will definately need a lot of luck. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif This thread ATL to Europe on DL and this article How To Nonrev should show you what you're up against.
Welcome to you too Oliver. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Edited to add vital stuff http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
Keep'em flying

Sorry! I'm not so convinced it's a good idea either. June is one of the top, top months for travel not only in the U.S. but also from the U.S. to almost anywhere on the globe.
In reference to your ticket price mention. In my humble opinion a destination's ticket price is in direct correlation to your chances of actually making the flight. The higher the ticket price, the lower your chances. The lower the ticket price, the greater your chances.
Best of luck! Take a backup pass! Keep your options open (i.e. if you're trying to get to Rome then don't turn down their offer of a flight to Milan, for example).
