So I got an Icelandair pass over the holidays and I'm actually pretty excited. I get the chance to fly an airline and go to a location i almost definitely wouldn't have, otherwise. Has anyone ever been to Iceland? Got any good stories/reccomendations? I'm up for almost anything while there. Also, how was Icelandair for nonrev travel? Not that it matters much, but just curious.

Hi DC, it just so happens that one of the Forum's correspondents-Randy, took a trip to Iceland. You can find his Iceland article ( with photos ) in the 'articles' section of the Forum. You know DC, you really should take off the dark glasses when you're on the computer. http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...#>/biggrin.gif http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...#>/biggrin.gif

I go to Keflavik Iceland ALL the time for work for layovers. if you decide to visit KEF go to paddys i think tuesday nights or thursday nights they have a band and weekends are always packed.....great time. the blue lagoon is also about 20min. from there and its a must go to. I have flown iceland air a bit and its ok. nothing outstanding. Reyk. is also a great place, lots of shopping and restaurants and bars.
