DUB-JFK on DL

Can anyone tell me if this flight often has W/B issues? Last month I left to ATL and the 764 was facing W/B so some of the other non-revs weren't allowed through to the gate after the staff was notified. I'm thinking about going this week and returning on Saturday through JFK and am looking for some information.
