You can buy the 2 for SEK 280 discount ticket here at the website. The ticket is not available as a specific ticket category, but when you book two adult tickets for periods when the discount applies, this ticket option will appear automatically in step 3.

Then you can choose either full price tickets (reebookable) - or the discount ticket (non rebookable).

there is a nice on in Gamla Stan (Old Town) walking distance from main area near Hilton Hotel.
Grocery store food is not too bad if you want to get picnic food, but restaurants are very pricey--$35/person entree for pasta or meatballs.
There is a place I never got to:
Östermalmshallen it's in indoor market w/lots of small restaurant booths where you can buy food then eat food court style. It's supposed to be a great deal.


If you like different museums--The Vasa is one of the most interesting ships you'll ever see. Grab a guidebook from the library--we like Eyewitness or Insight Guides--copy the relevant pages and toss them after the trip. Don't drag the book along if you don't need it for the cruise.
There is a local restaurant in Gamla Stan that's reasonable--just a few dishes offered each meal period but it's great for lunch. I'll get info from Boss and post as edit.
I'm pretty sure it's on Lilla Nygatan STreet (2nd or 3rd third street from the water) and I think i'ts #20.
You must have meatballs somewhere--your hotel can recommend someplace "reasonable" hopefully but be prepared it's sticker shock bigtime! If you want to SPLURGE (as in $100+ each smorgasbord at the Grand is unbeleivable--go empty tummy for certain)
