I work for DGS and I'm thinking of visiting some friends in Hamburg. We have DL benefits but no ZEDs. What is the cheapest way to get to HAM. Best I can tell, I would flying into FRA, STR, or MUC. Do any of the railways do interline fares?

ATL has Dusseldorf, too.
I think Berlin service is seasonally suspended--at least the NY route
take a look at whichbudget.com for LCC
Just watch out for baggage allowances and extra fees liek printing boarding passes, seat selection etc
otherwise your friends can advise train or bus travel (no interline)
Watch the taxes on MUC...they are over $100 last I looked.
Don't rule out flying to Amsterdam, Brussels or Copenhagen ( if DL fly there ) and getting the train from there as the fares are often cheaper from other countries to Germany as opposed to internally within Germany.
