I will be arriving MUC on Delta, with carry-on baggage only, then connecting to LH MUC-TLV, as a non-rev. Can I go thru transit and proceed directly to the gate (or service counter) to be placed on the standby list, or must I exit go go back to LH check-in? Thank you!
Hi! With carry-on only you should be able to proceed to the transfer desk once you go through immigration. If you are short on time you can go directly to the gate and the staff there can put you on the standby list once you have your ticket/booking reference. You shouldn't have to go through baggage...Lufthansa have several transfer desks in the arrivals area. Enjoy your trip!
I think DL arrives Terminal 1 in MUC and Lufthansa use T2. There's an underground tunnel connecting both and as you're flying international to international you won't need to clear immigration either. Just procceed to a LH service desk or as stated before check in directly at your departure gate
Just curious...with checked bags, would you have to claim them and recheck on LH, or would they be transferred? Assuming I was arriving on UA and transferring to a LH intl flt?
If nonrev, claim and recheck. If on a revenue ticket, it should be possible to check all the way thru since both are Star carriers, especially if both flights are on the same PNR .Quote:

Non revs can interline bags on LH when connecting in MUC and FRA. And most other destinations for that matter.Depends on the interline agreement and airport policy. But I can 100% vouch for FRA and MUC which works quite efficiently.
