The only surprise one to me is Egyptair.
Well if you think that list was surprising, you're gonna love this one. Can you guess the world's busiest air route? OK I'll give you a fighting chance, can you name any one of the world's top 10 busiest routes?
ISPPILOT I believe I can hear you asking for a hint, rather than a hint, I'll just eliminate one obvious choice right off the bat - New York to Washington D.C. didn't even make the cut. *wink*
I know ny-Washington is not on there but is a nice back up when heading south. From what I remember, rio-Sao Paulo and Beijing-Shanghai are on the list. Iirc, a large number of the top 10 are in Asia.
Interesting, anyone else care to make a guess? You only need one.
Lax-jfk? Lhr-del?
Well Donna, I'm going to give you partial credit- you got one of the airports right (just the wrong route). DEL/BOM is #6 on the list of the world's busiest air routes.
BTW, JFK/LAX didn't crack the top ten. *wink*
Mad-bcn
I keep making this all caps but it changes it back to lower case.
V unlike your flights to Vegas, this one you totally missed. (smile)
OK I won't keep you in suspense any longer the 10 busiest air routes in the world
1. GMP/CJU - Seoul South Korea to Jeju, South Korea. "More than 11 million journeys were made between the two South Korean airports in 2015...."
Note - not a single route in North America or Europe
The List
World's busiest air routes: The busiest route in the world is Seoul to Jeju
