A friend tells me Delta has revised their non-rev dress code policy, nonrevs can now wear jeans and t-shirts in first. How can we play "Spot the Delta Non-Rev" with this kind of policy? http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I heard the same things about Hawaiian recently. I believe the reason stated was that they don't want to differentiate the airline employees from paying passengers due to "security reasons." Paying passengers in First even on international 3-cabin flights dress down a lot these days. I wish United would follow suit (pun intended).
I wish AC was the same, jeans are ok in coach but not in first. Be warned! If you are wearing jeans and the only seat left is in first you won't get it with jeans on.
Yep. It's true. Jeans are ok for FC on Delta.

Actually it is worse then jeans in first...the new policy allows shorts, t-shirts and flip flops in first...about the only no-no's are PJ's, shirts with vulgar sayings and dirty/stinking clothes...
I got first to Nashville on a CRJ900 and was wearing jeans. I think it's nice to blend in with other passengers and not have to worry about changing at the airport if you need to wear shorts or jeans on the last part of your trip. Hopefully most employees will use good judgement and the gate agents will be able to respond appropriately to those that don't.

Wow, what a departure from the old suit and tie days. I have never nonrevved in jeans though my son wears them when we travel. I force the poor tyke to wear a shirt with a collar, though.
I love it, it really gives me freedom and more choices in what I am going to wear. Now I usually do fly in jeans but always a collared shirt. Once before boarding in LAS a gate agent told me that I would have to remove my jacket which was just grey with three white pinstripes from the shoulder to the sleeve. I did so but when on board I asked the OBL if I could wear it and what the gate had said. She told me it would be fine with her. I slept most of the way & it was pretty cold so glad she said alright.
