I have only used it for hotels, but have never paid more than $50 a night in close to 50 attempts.
Two of the best were a Renaissance suite in Long Beach for $50 and Embassy Suites Las Vegas for only $40. Embassy gives you free cooked breakfast and free manager's reception. I can tell you we surely had more than $40 in food and drinks!

Ok, you're right. Did you know that National Geographic has a travel forum? They also have a TRAVELER MAGAZINE.
Notice it is different than the regular National Geographic Magazine.

recently bought $4000 luxury 3 night safari @ auction for less than $800. some pkgs are valid for a year, some less. going to thailand for 5 night spa villa $1100--lots of perks included
