Yep, it's getting close to That time - full flights and dull weekends!!
With the winter fast approaching and since almost every flight my airline flies out of home base routes through the snowy Midwest - ideas for coping?
Should just wait it out? Plan for short jaunts (mid week)?
*gasp*
Should I bite the bullet and actually *pay* an Zed fare (I can play on Horizon and Jet Blue until March, then everyone else opens up for me!)
Note this is just a Crocodile tears post with tongue firmly in cheek - I haven't non rev'd since my first "Jump' and am feeling VERY restless!!!

It's kinda funny, this is the busiest time for the whole system; but in MDT, we're always this busy. So nonreving this week is no different then any other time. Its busier throughout the system, but still 2-4 seats open on most flights, with no other nonrevs listed.
As far as snow, that's hit or miss. Just like the summer T-storms in the NE. Good luck traveling and remember your options and try to get back the day before you have to work. Go someplace warm. I hope to go to STT asap and SXM in a bit when the passport comes. Have fun, take chances, see cool things.

Oh I will! Probably NEXT week - or most likely the week after (Monday looks hideously full, which is my RDO) or just do a day trip on Tuesday to GEG...

When Flights are full in the domestic US the International flights are usually great!!!
