So I've flown many different airlines, but always on Counter to counter station agreements, or zeds.
I've recently found out that some airlines have walk-up stand-by fares for other airline employees!
Does anyone know how these work? which airlines have them? and If any of those have agreements with Airtran?
Thanks for any info given.

I've not heard of that.
I am personally the right age to make use of the AirtranU program. It is just a little more than a ZED would be and that would make me a revenue stby, and presumably ahead of all the nonrevs. Of course I keep begging the local FL station manager for some passes.

I've never heard of it, either.

Yeahh AirtranU is the only thing that comes to mind when they told me about this!
I guess maybe someone was making this stuff up when they told me! lol

When I worked for SWA, we had a few.
UA, FL, and NK are the ones I remember. I used FL once when I was stuck in PIT.
I am pretty sure that all of the majors do not have anything like this and they don't really need to.

Hey ... cannot comment on the pass system but would like to comment on my treatment by AirTran when I was stuck trying to get to ATL.
AirTran took very good care of me and my other half, right up front ... first experience with them and I sing their praises !
