Hi all, Just signed up with Delta global staffing and will have benefits soon. (hopefully 30 days). Can anyone give me a run down on number of flights you can use, would puerto rico qualify as a transoceantic flight? Also, how much can we expect on average to spend for international travel? Do dgs employees receive interline benefits as well? looking for an overall benefits summary for non rev flight travel and limits etc......
hi kd. can't tell much about DGS passes but I do know that TO is Pacific or Atlantic. WHen he had a limit on TO (18/yr) I ran out because I went to Eu alot w/Boss (husband)
I had to figure out where I could go with my sister and discovered that South/central America and Carib were considered all in the same system as North America. So, no problem heading south--even as far as EZE. Double check w/pass bureau. PS--good luck w/PR--watch the cruise dates and stay flexible (like any good nonrev should!!)
PS--I did find info that specifically limits OAL leisure travel to DGS Supervisors/Admin
Thank you so much for the info. Do you know anything about yield tickets? Would my step children all over 19 qualify for this? What would it typically cost? Step kids have lived with us off and on throughout the years.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what your travel bennies will be. I'm not sure about step-kids in your case--particularly 19 yr old non dependents. Yield fare tickets are priced similar to buddy passes--mileage + fees/taxes. Just a bit less. Sometimes it's better to buy seats on certain routes--with your DOH, they'd have limited access to certain routes as NRSA.
You really need to get accurate info from your super. Good luck--and please let us know what you found for toehrs who may need the info.
ok, found the information. employees of dgs working less than 20 hours a week are eligible for 30 flights a year. Parents 18. non dependent step children I will have to find out more information for yield passing. Thank you for your information and help
check to make sure that means 30 flights or 30 flight days
