US is very strict when upgrading to the Envoy cabin, us employees the only way we get upgraded is we purchase the $100 Envoy upgrade. I have never been upgraded without the coupon (if you space available). You might get a very nice agent in CLT that might do it, but I persoanlly have never seen that happen. I am not sure if OAL employees can purcahse an Envoy upgrade, you can always check though.

Sure am glad I'm retired DL and not US. A few years ago, our "buddies" also were put up front with us..JFK/MUC/JFK.
