It is possible that an airport employee is tending to business before he gets on that flight right? As far as travel partner flying with me, never had that problem. This is not AIRLINE policy. It's an airport issue.
TSA won't let you get in the employee line without your AIRPORT EMPLOYEE badge. TSA won't let my wife go through the employee line unless I am with her. I'm the employee not her. If I get any beef, I just grab the TSA guy by the shirt collar and say..."I know you you better let me through, I will tend to start kickin your behind". That usually solves things.
