Terribles Casino LAS

Wow, got a neat thing from Vegas in the mailbox the other day, looks good up to 30th of september, I got this book of coupons to stay at Terribles Casino for 20 bucks per night on the weekdays, or 29 bucks on the weekend. Plus a free buffet dinner voucher, plus like 15 dollars free at the slot machines all with the swipe of my players card and a 9.99 NY steak dinner offer.
So....I may just take up the offer sometime before then. I know a bar right down the street sells bottled beer for a dollar. Just the kind of place to sit down and cool off from those 110 degree temperatures of the Mojave desert.
Like if I can just keep off the slot machines and not go too crazy on them, it may just be cheaper to hang out in Vegas than here!
Plus I got a buddy that I knew from back on the islands years ago, I may just pay him a visit at the old folks home. Just learned not too long ago he was retired there.

Ah, Vegas... I'm more of a downtown/Fremont St kind of guy, personally. Strip is a little too bloated for me... bad traffic with a car, and 20 minutes to go from one casino to the next without one. I was there a few weeks ago, actually. Friend of mine (former supervisor at OO, actually) moved out there a few weeks ago, so her and I went downtown, got a giant girly daiquiri that's only acceptable for a guy to have in Vegas and nowhere else, and strolled around people watching. Our stomachs hated us for it the next day (not a normal hangover, just way too much sugar in the drinks) but it was a fun night. Oh, and a special shout out to my future wife for being totally cool with me going out drinking with another girl and sharing a hotel room, even if she wasn't there.
