Relisting at CDG Airport
Back in the paper ticket days, we used to buy multiple back up tickets for the return trip prior to leaving the USA in case our original listing on Delta was full. We did this because we were told that you couldn't make these arrangements while in Europe. Is the case? How do you make new pass ride listings while in the airport if you find your flight is full. Can you relist using "travelnet" without bringing a laptop on your entire trip? Will the agents be helpful in relisting you to a different destination? Thank You for your reply Debbie

there are Delta agents at CDG departures desk if you need to buy zeds--open limited hours. I would never travel w/out ipad/laptop to access travelnet. I have a stupid phone so I can't vouch for smartphone access.

Very good question and frankly, I was somewhat in the same boat in the Philippines. I did it electronically using I forget what I used, and I couldn't tell you how I did it again. Normally, I buy my tickets at our pass office, but I found that you can do this using a computer which I had.....A LAPTOP...no, rather a NETBOOK type of miniture laptop and somehow managed to buy a pair of ANA tickets that way. I totally forgot how I did it now. I normally try to stick with my airline when travelling, or if not, I try to use the pass office to buy tickets, but sometimes, when the flights get full as you say, that is when the unknown factor results, especially when you haven't done it in a while.

myIDtravel carriers have increased to a point now that for us I will likely carry UA passes for our next trip and all secondary plans can be booked through myIDtravel, if needed. I travel with my iPad so I can always book on AA, DL, or LH as needed.

Thanks for the replies but let me drill down a little further. You are at the gate and thinking your going to get on when the gate agent says with a wide smile" No Flight for you!" What can you do? Will the happy gate agent re-list you on a Detroit flight? If you have a pc can you then list on an Air France flight and go directly to that gate? Better yet, can you list that flight as well as the Delta fight before leaving for your trip? Your name will appear on two lists leaving the same day. Is that kosher? Not wanting to violate pass privileges. Sorry for the OCD on this. Thanks....

You can list for AF and DL same dates. Heck, AF system at CDG doesn't even show if you get on DL flight. (same with AMS and KL)

Sorry debflies, my bust. I thought you meant for offline travel. I keep forgetting that this is pretty much a DELTA dominated forum.
