CDG Transit Desk
I'm attempting to fly AF from ZRH-CDG arriving at 9:05 then DL to SEA at 10:30. This is a pretty short connection and it has me a bit worried. A year ago I flew into CDG and used the kiosk to get my seat request on the AF flight to VCE and made it with less of a connection and had plenty of time. However, last time I remember flying out of CDG to the US I couldn't use a kiosk and had to wait in line. Will the agents at the transfer desk be able to check me in? Otherwise there's 0 chance I make the flight. Last time I saw the line at the transfer desk it was quite long and with an hour checkin cutoff time that might get me in trouble. Checking the AF website the flight arrives into 2F (from a Schengen country) and departs from 2E to the US. Assuming my flight isn't late I'm not worried about making it as long as there isn't a long line at the transfer desk and if they can actually help me without sending me landside.

It is very very short I am afraid and the procedures to go to the Us can take time. If I was in your shoes I would try another flight

Is it possible to go from zed via transit desk at CDG for any DL flight? I thought you were required to complete their paperwork at the departure counters? I understand it works in reverse, tho. They still use the paper activation system. Last time (a few wks ago--not on transfer) they even screwed up my S2 but I got on in biz class. Travelnet shows me using S3B--which isn't even in my priority allowance, except for a few connection carriers.

I decided against it. I was looking for a better way home and to avoid getting stuck with a middle seat on a 5 hour flight from jfk. Good thing I chose not to also because the flight is now oversold and I would've been in a world of trouble.
