Jet2 PR Giveaway Chaos

Jet2 wanted to celebrate five years in Leicester with free fights.
So an announcement on Jet2’s Facebook page - a 300 ticket giveaway.
Jet2 employees dressed in red spandex (now that’s wrong right there) would be handing ticket coupons in in Derby city center


Result -- a crowd in a frenzy and lots of pushing, shoving and flying elbows.
And as you might have guessed, there were some aspiring entrepreneurs who grabbed the free tickets and promptly turned around and sold them right there on the street. (It should be noted that these budding business tycoons were not wearing red spandex.)
