Airport of The Week: GEG

I only have one question.....Why Is Spokane's airport code GEG....there's no G in Spokane.... :cool:

I knew the answer to this one off the top of my head (no google search required)! It is because it was called Geiger Field when it was first created so GEG was the airport code. It is amazing what you remember from those long ago training classes.
