Holla!
Hi!
I work for Us Airways in CLT, I'm a Lead Mechanic for them. I do a lot of nonrevving, usually on US or LH. I'm about to do a trip to the Middle East mid March, and will be using some different carriers. It'll be my first time there, can't wait!
If I can ever help anyone with info on US, let me know!

Welcome aboard Tony, I see you've already found your seat and settled in.
And do let us know how your trip goes - you’re really going to check bags???

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, 9 day trip, too much to cram into a 21 incher and a backpack. Having to travel with a CPAP machine sucks....:(

HOLLA or is it HOLA? Hey, try your luck on a cpap machine locally bought, then ditch it when you leave.

Oooo, nice thought! How expensive are they tho? I thought you had to have a script?
-
I figure overseas, you don't need a script all the time. And you know how they like to duplicate things and sell them cheap.

Holla back, and welcome. There are some great people here that are very helpful. This forum can be a great resource.
I work in operations for Non-scheduled carriers, so I can't be of much help for checking loads, but sometimes I throw my thoughts out there.
As for CPAP, that definitely makes it difficult to not check a bag. I go on trips 30 days long at times, and only carry on. It's amazing how much paperwork you can get done while sitting in a hotel laundry room!
