I will start with a disclaimer. I do not like shopping. I only shop if necessary or dragged by Family and Friends.
This past weekend we were in North Carolina for a Family get together. My Sister needs a dining room table so we ended up in the Factory outlets of High Point and Hickory. The prices did seem less expensive and the stores were very happy to ship anywhere in the US. There is even a Furniture making museum in downtown High Point that will show children what goes into making a table or a sofa. If you do go sign up in every store. Up to 90 days after visiting they will do business over the phone of the items you looked at.

Debbie,
Our favorite store was Rose Furniture. My Father had a long discussion with a very nice saleman named Terry. I would suggest using him if possible when you go up there.
