inns in kittery and kennebunkport

does anyone recommend an inn or hotel in this area?and if they offer an airline discount..iam looking to go the first week of october thanks

We stayed up the road in Freeport Maine, the home of LL Bean and other outlets. We had a discount but do not remember if it was internet, airline, or AAA. The breakfast was wonderful. Here is some info:

The Inn is North of Portland and inland a bit, so may not suit your needs. Though the town is lovely and a shoppers heaven.

I was surprised how much of Portland is on the water. While in town I saw a business man kayak to the dock, take off his wet suit and proceed with briefcase to work. For water views a downtown hotel might work.

I will ask a Friend that lives in PWM for area suggestions. Let you know if I hear of anything.
