Looking for fun destination for the 4th with 12 month (m)

old. I work at AA; live in Dallas and am looking for a fun 4th of July weekend trip to take with my husband and 12 month old. Any suggestions??

Thanks!!! We decided to stay home...but are still looking for something fun to do this summer. I was thinking NC outer banks, but Chatanooga sounds like a lot of fun.

I was not looking forward to going to Panama City FL with my kids because it has such a Spring Break / Party reputation but it turned out to be a great place for kids. I especially love the State Park that was a great place to teach kids to snorkel. Here's my trip report:
