Hello Everyone I'm going to Isla Mujeres soon and need any help you can offer. First I have found Isla Mujeres.net and it tells me a lot about the Island but it doesn't tell me how big the Island is. How long would it takr to get from one end to the other by bike for instance. Any recomendations for must do things while there? Thanks to anyone who replies.

Follow the General info link on that site ...it says Isla Mujeres is only 5 miles long and half a mile wide with a downtown area of just four by six blocks.

Hi Overworked welcome to the forum.
Chris, the Atlanta correspondent, just returned from Isla Mujeres, you can read his trip report in the forum's articles section Isla Mujeres article
You can also post questions directly to Chris in the Atanta correspondent thread.
Have a great time, hopefully you'll be changing your name to "laidback" when you return. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

Hi Overworked,
Did you check out my article that Migflanker directed you to? We really enjoyed Isla. Let me know if you have any questions.
It is a very small island. We stayed out from downtown. If I went back, I'd probably stay right in town where all the restaurants and shops are. It's a short walk to the most popular beach - Playa Norte. You can then easily see the rest of the island in a day with a fun scooter rental. We really enjoyed our boat ride to Contoy island.
