My brother and I are planning to go to PHX the 2nd weekend in Feb to get away from the cold (we live in Montana)... if anyone knows any affordable nice hotels or fun places to see... we will only be there for a couple of days. And ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

One place that gives a great interline rate is the Wyndham Buttes. The last time I stayed there (in August), they gave me a rate of only $65/night. It's only about 10-15 minutes from the airport and is a lovely hotel. It's winter, though, so the rates may be a bit higher right now. There are a lot of things to do in Phoenix. What are you interested in? Museums? Hiking? Do you want to stay in the valley?

Hi mlp26 great timing, we were just talking about the 'valley of the sun'. Phoenix thread
BTW, you'll love Phoenix, they've never even heard the term 'wind chill factor'; isn't that right Donna? http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
