Hello...
We are planning a few days in Montreal this June. Any suggestions to where to stay? What to do? Where to eat?
I did find this website: http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/B2C/00/default.asp It has been a helpful site. We do plan on doing the speedboat on the St Lawrence..and visiting the underground.
Just wondering if anyone has been there lately and can give me any good tips!
Thanks..... ~Luv2fly

Hi Luv2fly
I haven't been to Montreal, but I have two sites you might want to take a look at
eGullet.com for food and restaurant suggestions
and
Montreal Jazz Festival
The festival runs 6/30 through 7/11 you might want to consider staying an extra day. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Make sure you spend some time in the historic part of the city. I enjoyed the world class archaeology museum down by the port. It is a unique museum built over excavations of the first Montreal settlement.

The museum's restarunt had a great view of the river and boat traffic, plus great food. In fact you will find good food just about everywhere in Montreal.
My husband suggests you try to see an Expos baseball game. They play in the Olympic stadium. He picked up some inexpensive tickets day of the game with ease.
