First of all, Im a UPS Airlines employee. So far as I know, the only airlines I have a discount w/ are ATA, Southwest, and Delta.
IF you know of others (domestic), let me know, cause that's all our website tells us about.
Anyway, Im planning a trip to Maui Sept 1 - 11.
I figure this is the low season, and I might be able to catch a flight there.
It appears I have 3 options: LAX (ATA, Delta), Salt Lake (Delta), and Pheonix (ATA).
Can you offer any pointers as to which I would have the best chance in getting?
Also, do you know of any good hotel discounts we get on Maui? It looks like Outrigger gives us a bit of a discount ($20-25/night), but that's about all I've found so far.
TIA,
Dave

Hi, I have stayed in Maui several times and each time I was able to get an airline discount rate from the Aston Hotels group. They have several condos in Maui and they also allowed me to book 2 rooms in my name (I was traveling with my sister and her husband and they are not airline employees)
Log onto their web-site www.astonhotels.com, even their web-prices are reasonable. You may have to call their 800 line for the airline employee rate.
Have fun in Maui. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

ATA is your best bet and the out riggers are a good choice but i would look into other options the outriggers in Maui can be a bit much. Not sure what your budget is and ATA just joined with southwest so they have opened flights to Maui everyday. I also have a car rental that you can rent a jeep for as cheap as 40.00 a day. This will make your must trip to Hana an even better trip (Maui Jeep Rentals 1-800-701-5337 ) Have fun you will love it.

Check non rev with Aloha or Hawaiian (since they exclusively service Hawaii, the # of company employees isn't so much to compete against.....20 total daily flights with 6,000 employees vs Delta with 5 daily flights 50,000 employees)
