Hi,
I have a Delta Companion pass, and recently when I was making payment (no Delta Direct), I was told that payments were no longer going to be accepted at the counter, and until then, a $15 fee was going to be applied. I was instructed that all payments need to be made online. Online??? Can I register somewhere to have access to a system of some sort, or do I need to have the pilot who gave me this flight pass make payment for me to avoid the $15 surcharge? If the pilot needs to make payment, can he use my credit card? Any help with this is, of course, greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Wade

All companion and buddy passes, considered yield tickets, MUST be handled by the employee through Travel Net, a website dedicated to the travel needs of the employee and where these tickets must issued. Companion tickets no longer can be handled at the ticket counter or DD but by the employee through the net. The DTV (Delta Ticket Charge) of $15 is not applicable to these type of tickets. And yes, the pilot can use your credit card to pay your companion ticket unless he wants to pay for it.
