I am looking for some good basic info on how to do this non rev stuff!!! I did post on the "checking loads" part of this forum already to see if someone could help with the numbers. But what else do I need to know. What is a "typical" routine to trying to make this happen. We have 3 passengers trying to go from Dayton to Denver (even though CVG is in our backyard!!!). I have listed with Frontier Air for an a round trip , Leaving Aug 4 and returning Aug 13. But what does that really mean? When should I call to check on numbers with the airline. We can leave and come back anytime between Aug 3 and Aug 14..(would like at least 7 days there). So please someone HELP!! I don't seem to know what this process entails. Thanks

Welcome!
Check the following link to read 3 'how-to' articles. They contain some rather general information that might help you get started.

Thanks Randy, Good info in those articles. I think I am starting to get the idea of needing a lot of back up plans!!!! Still deciding on the best way to get to Denver. Might be flying out of CVG now, since it seems to have more options than Dayton. I am limited to American Airlines and not sure if CVG to ORD or CVG to DFW would be best. WOW!!! So many decisions to make!!
