I'm coming back to ATL on Tuesday from LAS. I'm flying from ATL to MIA to get a couple of well-deserved beach days in before starting the new job. I'm arriving ATL at 1:13pm. That's the last leg of my round trip - ATL LAS ATL. I leave ATL for MIA at 3:05 pm so am basically just connecting (have only carry-on). Can they list me as a through passenger from LAS or will I have to run to a kiosk in ATL to check-in for the flight? (both round-trips are on a buddy pass)

QuestionS!!
1) NEW job?? Hooray--are you happy?!
2...) Why 2 RT's? Why not ATL/LAS/MIA/ATL with stopover in MIA? Isn't that a legal booking on buddy pass?
If you have 2 sep YF tkts you have to ck in somewhere, that's for sure but I don't believe LAS can ck you in for ATL/MIA if sep yield fare tkt.
Now, if they are one tkt, LAS can ck you in a through pax. That's how I understand it--definitely need to see if trip can be combined as one tkt. They still have red phones in ATL so you can do Delta Direct there--so you shouldn't need to exit security to ck in at kiosk. When do you depart? Ck w/ck-in agent ATL about combining tkt before you leave fro LAS.
Let us know what works or doesn't, ok?

Being 2 seperate buddy passes, I'm thinking you'll need to check-in in ATL, but I may be wrong.
Anyway, I believe its concourse A, theres a small bank of kiosks, maybe 4-6 where you can check-in without exiting security. Also, theres a counter in A where the center meets the concourse, like near A18-20, I'm sure they could check you in as well.
Enjoy the trip, and lets have a report.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. My kids in LAS kept me out late ( all night by ET ) so I never quite got caught up on my rest, felt tired and consequently whimped out on the MIA leg. I changed the tkt to a future date and will think about taking that trip asap. I found a place close to home to get away to for a couple of days in the sun.
