Did anyone answer the question about employee's spouse/dependents moving through security through the employee line if the employee is not traveling with them?
I am taking our boys to SJU this Sunday. My husband (Delta employee) is not going with us. Can we still use the employee line or should we just go through the regular security lines?
Thanks,
Leigh

Delta Spouse here: I am not permitted to use the employee line at all. I can't use it when I am with my husband, whether he is in uniform or not. It is for employees only. Sorry--that's the rule in CVG and JFK, too.

I was worried (on your behalf) about the new limits on checked baggage, but it doesn't effect ATL/SJU, just JFK.
so, FYI, folks on DL--ONLY one bag allowed to check JFK/SJU per nonrev.
No amount of money will get second bag checked.
There are several flights the new rules apply to, so make sure before you go the airport--employee or buddy pass.

Hey, Leigh--when you're in SJU, see if you can ask to say hello to DL employee Margarita ( I think her last name was Mulet?)--she was a great contributor to the original Delta infoxchange and we miss her. Maybe she'll join??
I heard she moved to baggage a while back but I'm sure she has to be up front somewhere! I hope you won't need her expertise but we always counted on her as a great source of info!

Thanks! I will see if I can locate her at the airport. I suppose we will just go through the regular security line. With my husband, we have been going through the employee line at ATL and as well as coming out of BOS last weekend. It has been along time since we checked bags. Everything is carry-on.
