I'm "hitchhiking" to Denver to see Obama's speech (yes, I wrangled one of the 75,000 tickets!!!) and am trying to be completely cheap. Does anyone know anything about DEN airport and where if any might be a good and safe place to spend the night inside the airport (camping out, as it were).

B concourse.
This is United's concourse, and they don't have any red-eyes, so it's empty at night. I never spent the whole night, I just napped there until about 12:30 for a DL red-eye. Anyway, no TSA or employees bugged me like in LGA.
I'd imagine this speech is in the Pepsi Center. Leave the terminal, grab the "AF" bus, I think its 8USD o/w. It'll drop you off right in front of Pepsi Center.
When you go back to the airport, remember the bus comes on the other side of the street. I cut it extremely close the first time I went to DEN because I forgot to cross the street, and had to wait an hour for the next bus.
Don't forget your hearing protection. Some noises cause more brain damage than the loudest APU.

Concourse B does seem to be the place to "camp out". http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/wink.gif The Guide to Sleeping in Airports
Tip: Forget the chairs, unless you're a contortionist the armrests make laying down impossible. Go underneath, you can stretch out on the floor and no one will trip over you. http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/wink.gif
