A friend told me that when he went to NRT before deplaning authorities came on board and took everyone's picture (possibly thermal scan??) and everyone had to fill out a paper to return. He was in Business and said it took an hour before he was able to deplane.
Can anyone tell me if this is still being done?
My friend and I are planning to fly over tomorrow and come back 2 hours after we arrive and that would probably foul up our plans. Thanks for the help.

Changing planes lol. We decided not to do it though. Intead we're flying to JFK today then to BCN for 3 hour and back to JFK. Maybe NRT another day.
