There's a Holiday Inn on the airport ground and a Radisson is also close. Many more near.
When I had to stay overnight in LAX for an early morning flight I stayed at this place: https://wr.wyndhamrewards.com/hotels...n_date&rooms=1
It's nothing special at all, but it's cheap, has a shuttle, and is pretty clean. I wouldn't wander too far away, though - I have a Losangelephobia, but even still it didn't seem to be the best area. But if you stay in the hotel or the Arby's next door, they should be good.
I send people over to the Hacienda Hotel, LAX Hotels | Hotels Near LAX | Hacienda Hotel, El Segundo, California
it’s close, cheaper than the chains (they offer an airline rate) and it has a 24-hour shuttle -you do have to call for the shuttle from the airport. Bonus- there are a couple of restaurants (Sizzler) that order and a supermarket across the street.
I knew you'd pull thru! I couldn't find the thread--thanks! I may send them to SFO since east coast flts stink out of LAX manana.
they are sssssssoooooooo tireds after SIN/NRT/LAX and getting in too late to get home today! I doubt they'll have enough energy to chew food!
Thanks all!
Just for comparison purposes rate tonight at Hacienda is $52 with ID.
I've stayed at teh Hacienda before. Reasonably clean, and food nearby!
They ended getting rerouted and stayed at Mi Casa de Nonrev. I took them back to CVG and backdoored them thru RDU to MCO since we couldn't get them to ALT/DAB. Thanks all--I bookmarked that Hacienda tho!
Yeah I know about that “Mi Casa De NonRev” chain -great local managers, great rates and 24 hour shuttle, but no room service and they definitely don’t offer a full service restaurant. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/6.gif
The restaurant was open fridge--help yourself--sorry, no Thai food--ham sandwiches!! But, I served wine and my guests got robes!! I run a fine joint here.
I'm staying at Hacienda at LAX this weekend. I couldn't get an appt in SFO for my Global traveler card until April, so I searched and got one in LA the 14th. It happened to coincide with my days off, so I actually *gasp!* drove down!!
It was a really nice drive, I took the "scenic" route and drove down the 101. Took quite a bit longer than expected tho. I guess partly cuz I stopped, jumped out and took pics every time I saw something interesting. No rush, I got there when I got there.
But I digress.
Hacienda, airline rates this weekend, 65 a night. Can't beat it!
We loved the easy access to grocery and food. Their diner is awesome--some of the best eggs benedict we've ever had! I got to use my Kroger card at Ralphs for the discounted specials, too! Wine and beer and ...Have a great time.
Enjoy the warm weather. :)
I have never paid more than $50 a night for hotels near LAX.
I use Priceline's name your own price option.
These are what I have had:
Renaissance LAX
Sheraton LAX
Hilton LAX
Radisson LAX
Four Points LAX
Marriott LAX
Doubletree LAX(This was our most recent and is very close to Hacienda)
Dang... I assume for last-minute bookings?
